A Spammer Made 202 Million Spam Calls This Year in India
A single number in India made 202 Spam calls in one year. The data is revealed by the Truecaller including this it has released more information regarding the new Spam patterns in the whole world.
Recently, the Truecaller report has thrown some light upon the techniques and data of the Spamming system across the world. And apprised the people from such unwanted calls and Digital frauds.
Highlighted facts of the Report
- The Truecaller’s disclosed the information about the ranking in the Spammed activities. And told that India lies in the 4th position in the top 20 most Spammed countries whereas the earlier ranking was 9th.
- In India, about 16.8 average numbers of Spam calls are recorded per user in a month.
- 93 percent of these Spam calls were related to sales, marketing, and advertisements.

Truecaller’s Annual Global Spam Report released data in which it revealed a lot of information about the Spamming activities and also it shared interesting information that a single number in India made alone 202 million Spam calls in a year. If we go into the deep statics of the facts it means the spammer was able to disturb the 27 thousand people every hour and 6 lakhs 64 thousand in a single day.
The report contains data points of Spammers from January to October 2021. And said that it actively maintains the list of top most Spammers and stores them in the container of Block listed numbers of the different regions of the world. While going in the deep dive in the list of top most Spammers, it found the single numbers that are vastly ahead of all the competitors.
Some other countries on the list
Among all the 20 countries, Brazil is still at the top of the list. And have the largest average Spam calls which are 33 per user per month.
Peru is the second-highest on the list having only 18 Spam calls per user per month.
the list also reveals the condition of India which has 16.8 Spams calls per user per month. The ranking was 9 in past but the tremendous increase in Spam calls made it the fourth country on the list. The related area is sales calling, fraud banking calls, advertisement calls, etc.
